Our latest MxL team day out saw us take to the tracks, in our first highly competitive Go Karting experience.
After a hard-fought qualifying run, we all lined up to our starting positions. As the lights turned green, we all spun away in the hope of becoming crowned MxL Go Kart champion. Unfortunately a pile up on the very first corner soon split the race in two, with the top qualifiers battling it out for first, second and third places.
It very soon become a two-horse race, but eventually George Day, who brought his own helmet along for safe measure, crossed the finish line in 1st place.
Congratulations to the podium winners:
And commiserations to Michael Wilson, who, much like the starting lights, also turned green once the race was over:
A huge thank you to Rye House Kart Raceway for a fantastic experience, and one that we will sure to repeat in the near future.
